This cool desk pen is the second pen that WC "Cav" sent to me. It is kauri with a fantastic poly finish

"Cav" is a dentist, so I made this to resemble an 18th century tooth extraction key

This was a concept pen to see if I could add cap threads after the material was turned

The added on threads are recessed into the material. It was tricky but fun to make. I will probably try this again but make the whole pen much thinner
